He has spoken in over 40 countries, to half a million people, on how technology is disrupting business, changing behaviour and influencing society. Brett King's Speaking Audio/Visual Requirements

Brett uses a MacBook running Keynote for Mac, not Powerpoint. His keynote presentation includes embedded video/audio, along with strong visuals. Brett also present without slides.

Widescreen format?

To optimize the presentation for your audience, let us know what aspect ratio you will project onscreen and Brett can optimize the visuals for that screen size. Brett’s default option is 16:9 or 16:10 letterbox format.

Audio/Visual

Brett uses a MacBook with a standard VGA Adapter (he brings his own MacBook to VGA adaptor plug), and standard headphone audio jack (miniature 3.5mm TRS jack).

Resolution (Output)

Output resolution is typically 1440x900 quality, but depends on the aspect ratio chosen.

Podium/Roaming Microphone

Brett prefers to speak dynamically and doesn’t use a podium, thus he requires a roving/wireless microphone setup for larger audiences. For smaller groups, he typically doesn’t require amplification. He says his wife can verify this fact...

Video Recording and Photography

Brett is happy to have his speaking event recorded conditionally on the basis that he receives a copy for his own use. In the event that photographs or video is taken, Brett request a copy of the media is provided within 30 days electronically using a DropBox facility or similar 

 


EXTRA ATTENDANCE

BOOK SIGNING:

Book signings typically require a simple setup with a table where the books can be stacked, and a place for Brett to meet those who want a copy for signing. The best places for the signing are usually at the entrance of the event venue conference room, or similar. If there is heavy demand, then Brett requests the organizers to provide an assistant at the table for smooth execution.

If a book signing is requested, an announcement should be made at the event specifically, and an invitation provided in the delegates information pack to guarantee optimal support.

Brett is happy to sign and personalize copies also for VIP attendees.

Formal/Gala Dinner Attendance
